1. Introduction
EDI (Eletrodeionization) combines electrodialysis and ion exchange to complete water desalination, is a pure water manufacturing equipment. Produced water resistance15-18MΩ·cm.
2. Operating Principle
1) RO Product Water enters the EDI module, and evenly distributed to the Fresh Water Chamber.
2) The residual trace ions are adsorbed by the ion exchange resin in the Fresh Water Chamber.
3) Direct Current is applied to the two poles of the EDI module, drive the anions and cations in the fresh water chamber to migrate to the Concentrated Water Chamber, thereby producing high-purity water.
4) Water molecules are ionized into H+ and HO-, thereby regenerating the ion exchange resin.
